Monthly Makeup HUAL!!

MAKEUP MAKEUP MAKEUP

As Myra can tell you my makeup haul is long over do. However I finally found some time to go out and get some of my essentials. The picture above highlights all my new products, as you may or may not be able to tell I am a huge TARTE fan. I love that there products are formulated without parabens, mineral oils, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulphate and gluten. For all my animal conscious friends,  there products are also cruelty free. For those of you who have sensitive skin or brake out often I would highly suggest looking into there cosmetics. They have a wide variety of products that are super pigmented, full coverage and packed with great things.

In the next few days I will be writing a review on all these products letting you know what I LOVE and what I can live with out.

New Year Same ME!!

Welcome back and HAPPY NEW YEAR..

With 2017 finally here I have decided I am not going to lie to myself once again.... "workout, become a better person, drink more water and all that jazz most of us say. If we are lucky that last a whole 3 weeks before we realizes there is absolute NO changing ME!!! If you are anything like myself,  this phase actually lasts a whole 3 hours before I get super hungry and stuff my face with the first sweet salty or greasy dish passed my way.  However I vowed that this year would be different. Instead of setting myself up for continuous failure which sends me off the cliff into a box of donuts I am however, going to challenge myself to complete things off my Bucket list.

As the year passes I will be posting my adventures in hopes of sharing my experiences and helping  inspire some of you to challenge yourself and think outside the box.

2017 is all about loving you and whatever it is you like to do.

Talk to you soon.

Sephora Steals!!

Happy New Year to everyone!!

I'm hoping I wasn't the only one who took advantage of all the holiday deals!
This post is going to be about my most loved holiday steals from Sephora.
These deals are still hot and in stock!
Hence why I wanted to share and have all you take advantage of it before it all goes away.

SEPHORA COLLECTION - Look Color In The Eye Brush Capsule

SEPHORA COLLECTION - Classic Multitasker Contour #55

First of all I love the fact that this brush set is travel friendly and the case to store it in makes it so much easier to throw in your makeup bag without making a mess. One thing I hate is having to dig in my makeup bag and only finding myself grabbing everything except for the thing I was actually looking for. Another great thing was the price! This set was only C$15.00 on sale from C$25.50. And as for the quality, they definitely are worth alllllot more than C$15.00, or even C$25.50 in my opinion.

In this set:
Cream shadow brush
Small shadow brush
Angled shadow brush
Smudge brush
Angled liner brush (btw ... I've been using this as an eyebrow brush and it works smoother than some "really good" eyebrow brushes out there)

I also got the Classic Multitasker Contour #55. This brush was also on sale for C$15.00 from C$30.00. I mainly got this brush because of the brush shape. I don't have anything like this for contouring. It's a long, slim shape with an interesting slant/curve. This is meant to be a multitasking face brush, so you can be creative with it. It's mentioned to be used to apply foundation or blush and to sculpt/highlight. I personally got it for smoothing out my contour. This brush is too dense to be a foundation brush in my opinion. It does have soft bristles towards tips but I just feel like this is more for sculpting than anything else. It gives a really smooth finish to your contour and I would recommend it to everyone.

SEPHORA COLLECTION Rouge Shine Lipstick

I can't help myself with nudes. I don't normally buy Sephora brand lipstick but soon as I saw the price and the shades available....I just had to grab a bunch, and it turns out, they're the cutest little bunch 😇  These babies were only C$7.00!!! On sale from C$15.50. These shades.. for that price, in any way.. are an amazing deal to me. Although they don't have much staying power and don't give you the same pigment as matte lipsticks do, this is great for anyone who likes to wear light lips. I've been taking a break from matte lipsticks lately, so this will be my go-to light lip day lipstick. I feel like a better use for these can be to gloss up and touch up on matte lipsticks as well.
